Vocabulary Words
- Annunciation - Announcement; It describes the time when the Angel Gabriel visited St. Mary and announced how she would be the mother of God.
- Devote - To give a lot of time and attention to something or someone. It means someone who tries their best to follow all the teachings of the faith.
- Judaism - A belief in One Almighty God, called “Yahweh” (ya•'we) revealed to Abraham, Moses, and the Hebrew prophets. The Jews or the Jewish people are those who practice the religion. They follow the Old Testament and call it the “Torah.” Jesus and his family were Jews.
- Generations - a group of people born around the same time. The generations before that are your parents and grandparents and all your ancestors.
