- "Nativity" means birth, and usually we use the word to refer to the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ. In simple terms, it means the day when Jesus was born as a man. Remember that Jesus is God and was alive since the beginning of time. However, the Nativity is a special occasion when Jesus came into the world as a baby. Just like how we celebrate our own birthdays, we celebrate the nativity of Jesus because it is a very important and joyful day for Christians. We remember and honor the moment when Jesus came to bring love, hope, and salvation to all people. The nativity reminds us of God's great love for us and is an important part of the Christmas story.
- The "Magi" were the kings from the East who followed a bright star in the sky to find baby Jesus. They knew that the star was a sign that the Savior of the world was born, so they followed it until it led them to the manger in Bethlehem where Jesus was lying. The Magi fell to their knees when they saw Jesus and worshipped Him. They also offered Him three gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The Magi recognized that the newborn baby was special because Jesus is God.
