- "Doctrine" can be defined as a teaching or lesson that we learn from God through the Prophets, Saints, and Apostles. It is something that God wants us to know and understand. We can explain "doctrine" as the lessons that we learn about God and how to be good Christians. It is like the important things that our parents, teachers, or priests teach us to help us become better and to understand God's love for us .
- The Holy Trinity is a special and important teaching we have in our Church. It means that God is not just one person, but three persons in one. The first person is God the Father, the second person is God the Son (Jesus), and the third person is God the Holy Spirit. They are all God and they are all special in their own way. This is confusing even for adults and we need to explain this is a mystery that cannot be explained. It's something we believe because we have faith as Christians and it is a mystery that only God fully understands.
- "Faith" is a word that means trust or confidence in something or someone. In Church, it is our trust or confidence in God. Faith can be explained as believing and trusting in God, knowing that He loves us and takes care of us. It means having confidence that God is always with us and will help us, even if we can't see Him. It's like knowing that our parents are there for us, even when we can't see them. So, faith is believing and trusting in God with all our heart.
- "Mystery" is something that is difficult for us to explain or understand fully, but we know it is true because God taught us it is true. We can explain "mystery" as something that we believe and accept even if we may not have all the answers or understand how it works. Just like how we believe in God being three persons in one (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit), it is a mystery that we trust and accept because God has taught us this is Truth.
