Vocabulary

1. Liturgy: Common work or common action. A communal worship in which every member acts together as one body.
2. Seraphim: A choir of spiritual beings (“seraph”, singular). They are mentioned in the Old Testament book of Isaiah as having “six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.” (Isaiah 6:2) St. Dionysius the Areopagite (1st c.) in his writings “Celestial Hierarchies”, mentions the Seraphim as being in a choir of angels that is closest to God.
