- A "person" is a living being, just like you and me. It includes everyone, like your family, friends, and even yourself. Each person is unique and special. We can also say that God is a person because God is alive and has feelings just like us. The word "person" helps us understand that each individual is important and valuable.
- "Messiah" is someone who helps and saves us. The messiah is like a superhero who has special powers and comes to rescue us when we need help. In the Orthodox Church, we believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah because he came to save us from our sins. He is our Savior and the Son of God.
- The "Thubden" is the set of prayers during Holy Qurbana where we remember the living and the departed. They are also called "diptychs". Thubden is Syriac for "again" which is how the prayers begin.
