Our curriculum approach emphasizes that we are all disciples of our Faith. Teachers must approach our classroom as humble disciples.

Pedagogy is defined as the approach to teaching. The pedagogy adopted by teachers shapes their actions, judgments, and teaching strategies. A good pedagogy takes into consideration theories of learning, understanding of our children and their needs, as well as the backgrounds and interests of individual students. We recommend all teachers to listen to this interview titled "Using Generative AI in Education" with Dr. Philippa Hardman, where she reflects that tools such as AI will not resolve bad pedagogy.

Remember that our curriculum approach emphasizes all teachers are constantly planning, teaching, and assessing with a focus on our mission to cultivate our children in the Orthodox Church to become true disciples of Jesus Christ.
