- Jesus wants each of us to have a place in the Kingdom of God. When Jesus comes back in His Second Coming, there will be judgment for each of us based on our deeds and actions to see if we are worthy of the Kingdom of God. God will judge us to see if we have loved Him and loved others the way He loves us. Just as Jonah had to face the consequence for turning away from God, we all will have to face the consequence for our actions as well.
- Our God is a loving God and will never reject us, His children, for our shortcomings. He will wait for us to repent and return to Him.
- As Christians, we should live in the way God wants us to. We may do or say something wrong, whether we know it or not, but we should always try to repent and change our ways to become better than how we used to be. Then, God will forgive us just as He had forgiven Jonah and the Ninevites when they had repented.
