  • "Holy Myron" (also known as Holy Mooron) is a Holy oil used to seal the Holy Spirit in special Sacraments such as Holy Baptism. It is very sacred and holy oil, and made through a very special service attended by our bishops.
  • "Chrismation" happens after a person gets baptized when the priest or bishop puts a special oil called Holy Myron on the person's body. This oil is a gift from God, and it helps the person become closer to Jesus and live like Him. The Holy Myron is rubbed on the person's body, and this rubbing is called anointing. It makes the person sanctified, which means they become holy and set apart for God's work. This seal shows they are part of God's family and have the Holy Spirit with them always. Chrismation transforms us and brings the Holy Spirit within us to help us become even more like Jesus after we are baptized.
  • "Sanctify" is to make something special, holy, and sacred. Sanctification is the process of making something holy. Anything that is sanctified is very holy and important, should be treated with great respect.
