  • A "liturgical calendar" is a special calendar that our Church uses to help remember and celebrate important events in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ. It helps us with feasts like Christmas and Easter and also the fasts during the year. We also have special days for our saints and Bible readings. It is a schedule for our special prayers, liturgy, preparation, and celebrations.
  • "Prostrations" is the action of bending down on your knees and bringing your forehead to touch the ground as a sign of respect or worship for God.
  • "Venerate" means to have a lot of respect and admiration for someone or something. It's like looking up to someone and thinking they are really special and important. We venerate our Saints because they lived their life like Christ.
