- "Gospel" that means “good news”, and is a special part in the Bible that tells us the story of Jesus. It is written by St. Matthew, St. Mark, St. Luke, and St. John. They wrote about everything they remembered and were told about Jesus, from the time He was born, to the miracles He performed, to when He died on the Cross and came back to life. The Gospel of St. Matthew, St. Mark, and St. Luke have many of the same stories and are called the Synoptic Gospels.
